What you can do with images on Alosem

Public images

Images their creators share publicly on Alosem are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) — creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0. You may share and adapt them, including commercially, as long as you give appropriate credit: the creator's name and "made with alosem" with a link to the image page is the preferred form.

One honest line: whether an AI-generated image carries copyright at all is unsettled in some jurisdictions, including the United States. Where it doesn't, there is nothing to license and the image is effectively free to use; where it does, CC BY 4.0 is the license the creator grants by sharing publicly. Either way, the practical rule is the same: use it, credit it.

Private images

Images you keep private are yours alone. They are not published, not shared, and not licensed to anyone — including other users. Nothing on this page grants anyone any right to them.

Your uploads

Images you upload (to edit, or to show Sema) remain yours. Uploading grants Alosem only what is needed to do the thing you asked: hold the image while we work on it, process it into the edit or conversation you requested, and delete it when that ends (see /privacy for exactly when).

Alosem's own marks

The Alosem name, wordmark, and The Other Half mark are ours. CC BY 4.0 covers images on the platform, not the brand.
