Light-calligraphy portrait

An adult man stands perfectly still in a pitch-black studio while glowing turquoise and magenta ribbons of light loop in swirling curves around his motionless body. No letters, words, signs or logos anywhere in the image. A real photograph in the long-exposure light-calligraphy genre, captured on a tripod-locked full-frame sensor at low ISO with a 35mm lens at f/5.6, one multi-second exposure keeping the still sitter crisp while handheld luminous strokes loop through the space around the body. A small moving light draws those glowing ribbons, and its coloured glow is the dominant light of the scene, throwing faint spill onto nearby surfaces; each path passing behind the sitter stops cleanly at the silhouette. Surroundings sink to deep black, skin keeps its natural matte texture, and saturated bright strokes ring against the dark, high-contrast finish.
